This weekend I got to spend quality time with our youngest. After some deliberation, we decided on Montana Club for dinner. While I enjoyed a delicious juicy sirloin, Madelyn chose the classic corndog with fries. We had to buy a new toy for the dog, which ended up being a “gigantically long” rope. Because Cold Stone Creamery was nearby, we shoveled down the bright blue cotton candy ice cream mixed with M&M’s. Although we arrived home past bedtime, I was continually reminded that I said we could play a Lego video game.

Kids grow too fast. Our little one is learning to read 3- and 4- letter words. The light bulb for connecting letter sounds turned on this week and she is taking off. Liisa and I treasure the moments we have now to make lasting memories for later. ❤️
