Phew, what a day! Today was my last day working before taking the rest of the week off for the first holiday of the Happy Holidays season, aka Thanksgiving. To add to the thanks-giving holiday spirit, EVERYONE WANTS EVERYTHING done TODAY before everyone else disappears to spend much-needed valuable time with family. Today was an 11-hour workday as I tried to tie up loose ends before leaving. Yes, some people are going to have to wait until next week. Sometimes you just have to prioritize which tasks are most important and which ones can wait.

I’ve had 3 co-workers quit over the past few months, aiding in the recent overloads. My time management skills have never been so good! Sanity on the other hand… Well, we won’t talk about that 😂

I’m looking forward to this holiday season. It builds in natural, excusable breaks that will be breaths of fresh air among the currently fast-paced world of where I work. It’s not always that way, but sometimes I just have to find a way how to get through it without losing it.
