Time is a phenomenon created in the midst of eternity. We are so used to the passage of time because everything we do has a beginning and an end, even life itself. My question is: who was the first ever to celebrate a birthday? We know how old Adam was in the Bible when he died, and we see years being counted in the first chapters of Genesis. At some point, the birthday became something to celebrate, and rightly so! Life is a gift and is something that brings experience, memories, and hope for a bright future.

Today we celebrated the third birthday of our youngest. Kids grow so fast! “It’s Sweet to Bee Three” is the theme for the birthday party tomorrow. We’ll be out at a park for a good time with friends and family. Liisa made delicious cupcakes and some amazing decorations for the celebration. We love birthdays and thank God for the gift of life! Make the best of your moments, for today’s moments become tomorrow’s memories.
