When you turn a page, it’s implied that you’ve read the previous page already, and you’re curious about what is coming next. Time and life are no different. The change of a digit in our annual calendars is a pageturn on our trek through this book we call Life. What did you just read? What did you just learn from the last page or chapter?
Goals are a funny thing. Do we know the future? Sometimes goals are a result of discontentment with how we lived through or ended the previous year. Many times we set goals because we simply want to grow or go farther in what we’re already doing. As you look toward setting goals for this next year, press the proverbial Reset button. What is important? Who do you want to be? Focus, growth, legacy–all good things, but don’t forget to pray about it.
Another new year is upon us. Another page is about to turn. Pause, consider, and continue.
We hope you had a wonderful Christmas and that your New Year is just as or more enjoyable. Leave the fire burning a little longer, let the Christmas tree twinkle a few more days, spend more time with those you love. From our home to yours, have a happy New Year!
